Reflecting on your journey as Human Rights Advocate so far:

 What did you like about the session? Also share some of the things you learned in this
session that could be used in your everyday life as a Human Rights Advocate.

From this opening session of championing feminist activism for human rights, I learned that to
obtain equivalent possibilities across different fields of employment and cultures, as well as
equal respect in a range of roles, feminism works are to ensure that women are treated equally
and have equal access to opportunities.

Feminist theorists frequently discuss the ideas of which experiences of women are normative as
well as the ways in which inequality is worsened by the junction of various elements and
identities.

To ensure that no one's rights are violated because of characteristics like race, gender, language,
religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, political or other beliefs, nationality, social origin,
class, or wealth status, feminism aims to create equity.

Reflecting on the WLA:

 How has this session added to your journey as part of the Women’s Leadership
Academy?
After this session, the importance to increasing the visibility of human rights, informing,
training, and teaching about human rights in all parts of the public sector as well as developing
methods and material that can strengthen feminism. General acceptance and respect for the
human rights of all are more likely to occur in a rights-informed and educated society, where
politicians, public officials and the public all understand how human rights are intertwined in
their daily work and lives.
