You want a step-by-step instruction on how to install a Reader Rights Credential in NWA for the Adobe Interactive Forms
scenarios.
Environment
SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe
Resolution
1. Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator via the internet address http://<server>:<port>/nwa
<server> : AS Java, where the Adobe Document Services are installed
<port> : HTTP port of the AS Java
2. Navigate to Configuration -> Infrastructure -> Adobe Document Services -> Document Security.
Select 'Credentials' from the list
Click button 'Manage P12 Files'
3. To upload a new file, proceed as follows:
Choose Add New File.
From your local file system, select the credential(.pfx) file extracted from the zip file you received via from SAP via email. If you do not have the
credential file, you can request one from SAP by following note 736902.
Choose Upload.
4. Configure the Reader Rights Credential.
Click button 'Add New Object'.
In the Alias field, select 'ReaderRights'
From the Type field, select 'P12'
For the P12 File field, select the credential(.pfx) you uploaded in step 3
In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter the password you received together with the credential you installed
Click 'Save' button
5. You can confirm the Reader Rights Credential is installed correctly if Expiry data is displayed.
