10.8.5 Defense Requirements: VERY IMPORTANT!!!

10.8.5 Defense Requirements: VERY IMPORTANT!!!

10.10.1 COMPUTATION OF GRADES

10.10.2 EQUIVALENT OF GRADES


10.10.2.1 PASSED (1.0-3.0)
Students may receive a Passing Grade if the computed final grade is 50 or higher.
10.10.2.2 INCOMPLETE

• The student passed the Site and Architectural Programming Defense and THE computed final
grade is close to Passing but he/she was not able to accomplish the post-defense requirements

• Was endorsed by the Adviser but received a failing grade from the Defense Panel, said defense
score will not be included in the computation and a grade of INC will instead be given
• Was NOT endorsed by the Adviser and the student decided to follow the Adviser’s
recommendation and deferred his/her presentation to the following semester.

• Was endorsed for defense by the Adviser and received a passing grade from the Defense Panel
but the computed final grade is less than 50

10.10.2 EQUIVALENT OF GRADES


10.10.2.3 FAILED (5.0)

The student was NOT endorsed for Site and Architectural Programming Defense by his/her
Adviser but the student decided to proceed to said defense and, unfortunately, failed to
get a passing verdict for said defense.

10.10.2.4 ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

No student with a grade of Incomplete (INC) in Design 9 shall be allowed to enroll in


Design 10 (AR502) prior to the completion of his/her pending requirements. This provision
shall be strictly implemented to ensure continuity and correctness of the Capstone Project
since the undertaking is composed of a sequence of steps and procedure starting from
the Design 9 up to its culmination in Design 10.

B 45%-49% Nearly satisfactory

C 40%-44% Conditional

D 35%-39% Double double time to work on your Project

E 30%-34% Recommend NOT to proceed on final defense but if


you are very much confident, then take the risk

F 30% BELOW Recommend NOT to proceed on final defense
