Detailed itinerary of the Overnight Camping Trip to El-
Fayoum Oasis from Cairo
Day 1: Cairo to El-Fayoum Oasis (North of Lake Qarun
attractions)
Pick up from your Cairo hotel at 7:30 am.
Start our trip from Cairo by our 4WD to the north of Lake Qarun
to see and explore the Petrified Forest, the oldest commerce road
in the history of mankind, the colored mountain, & Qasr Al-
Sagha. picnic lunch. After lunch, we continue our tours to Dima
Al-Sebaa (Greek-Roman ancient city), the Watermelon Valley,
and then we proceed to Wadi El-Rayan lakes and waterfalls.
Continue our trip to Wadi El-Hitan. Dinner (Chicken, rice,
vegetables, ..etc). Overnight at the camp (camping).

Day 2: Wadi El-Hitan, Magic Lake, Tunis Village,

Mudawara Mountain, & Sandboarding:
After breakfast at the campsite, start your tours to the 2
museums of Wadi El-Hitan to see the fossilized whales and the
museum of climate change. Continue the trip to the Mudawara
mountain, the magic lake, and Tunis village (visit Madam
Eveline pottery school. (opportunity to have lunch in Tunis
village – optional).
Sandboarding on the sand dunes around the area.
Transfer back to Cairo to your hotel and drop off.
