Project Proposal
I. Program Title: God loves a cheerful giver : Give the Gift of
(if Memories
applicable)
II. Project Title:
Outreach program for the children (gift giving)

III. Proponents:
▪ BSOAD 3B Students of BISU MAIN
▪ Sunshine Homes Orphanage Organization
▪ DSWD
▪ Potential Donors and Supporters

IV. Rationale:

Gift giving is a demonstration of self-delight. It is a way and a

declaration of adoration. It fortifies human associations and
constructs connections. The social benefit of giving has been
perceived consistently and Christmas day is one of the most
joyful days of the year where youngers got presents from their
folks, godparents and family members. Giving Christmas gifts to
an orphanage is a wonderful way to spread joy and show
kindness during the holiday season. It provides a sense of
inclusion, care, and warmth to children who might otherwise
feel neglected or left out during this festive time. It's an
opportunity to bring smiles to their faces, create lasting
memories, and remind them that they're valued and
remembered. Such gestures also promote the spirit of giving,
fostering empathy and goodwill in both the givers and
receivers. It is one approach to saying that they are significant
and adored yet for certain youngsters purchasing food is a
higher priority than getting toys and presents. This is the best
opportunity to show our young chiefs the benefit of sharing to
the less lucky kids. This can have an effect on the existences of
these youngers for having a present to open and partake in the
day with individuals who thinks often about them. A chance to
impart our favorable luck to our neighbors out of luck.

This outreach program project entitles “give the gift of

memories” is a charity work which aims the goodness of
bringing happiness to the children.

V. Target Outcomes:

1. Joy and Happiness: The primary goal is to bring

happiness and joy to the children during the holiday

belonging and inclusion, ensuring that these
children feel remembered and cared for during a

neglected. This act of kindness can reassure them
that they're not forgotten.

positive relationships between the children,
caretakers, and the community by involving them in
the act of giving and sharing.

the givers, whether individuals, groups, or

Give the gift of memories is a outreach program which aims to
provides gift to the children of Sister Homes to feel them that
even though they don’t have a family with them we can still let
them feel the spirit of Christmas by giving gifts from the donation

The key is to spread joy and warmth during the holiday season
while considering the needs and preferences of the children in
the orphanage.

a. Prospective clients- In the context of giving Christmas

gifts to an orphanage, the prospective "clients" would be the
children residing in the orphanage specifically children aged
from 2-15 years old. They would be the recipients of the gifts and
the primary focus of the initiative.

X. Budgetary Requirements/ Line- Item Budget:

The expenses for providing Christmas gifts to an orphanage

can vary based on several factors:

1. Gifts: The primary cost would be the gifts themselves,

ranging from toys, books, clothing, school supplies, or other
items based on the children's ages and needs.
▪ Estimated clients ( 50 packs )
▪ Budget per head (300.00)
Total budget for all children =( 300) (50) = 15,,000.00

2. Logistics: This includes transportation costs for collecting the

gifts, storage, and delivery to the orphanage.

materials, such as wrapping paper, ribbons, and labels, as well
as any decorations for a festive presentation.

children.

last-minute needs.

Wrapper and Presentations = 4,000.00
Event Costs = 10,000.00
