Dear Candidate,
Congratulations! Based on your performance in NEE-2023, you are placed in the selected/ waiting/ extended list
of NEE-I/NEE-II/NEE-III for admission for the Academic Session 2023-24. Your admission will be as per
Counselling Schedule. The admission of wait listed candidate(s) is/are subject to the availability of vacant seats after
admission of the selected candidates. The admission of the Extended Wait-listed candidate(s) is/are subject to
availability of vacant seats after admission from the waiting list. Further, the 2nd round of Counselling/Admission
only for candidates included in the 2nd Round Open Merit List shall be subject to vacancy, if any, to be notified by
06.08.2023. You are, therefore, invited to fill up the Counselling-cum-Admission form by registering into
https://students.targetx.in/NERIST/ from 14th July 2023, and by making a payment of Rs 500/- (Non-
refundable counselling fee ). Candidates are required to submit the completed form at least one day before the
scheduled counselling date, and attend OFFLINE Counselling for admission in the Institute as per the counselling
schedule. You must register with a valid email address and mobile number as all the correspondences will be
made to those contacts. These email and mobile number will be considered as your registered contacts with NERIST
if you are admitted here.
You will be required to upload the following documents while filling up the Counselling-cum-Admission form:

1. Class – X, XII & Diploma Pass Certificate, as applicable, Migration Certificate, Institute Leaving Certificate,
Mark Sheets of all Semesters of Diploma etc. Aggregate Marks for NEE-III in Diploma 3-Years should be
60% or above.
2. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD certificate (if applicable) issued by the Competent Authority (Deputy Commissioner
or an Authorized Revenue Officer) in support of your claim. PWD candidate must upload proper Medical
Certificate clearly mentioning the loco motor disability and its percentage. For OBC candidate, uploading
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate along with OBC certificate (in a single PDF file) is must. The
NCL/EWS Certificate should not be older than a year from the date of issue. The EWS certificate should be as
per the format issued by Govt. of India.
3. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is mandatory if you have applied for state quota of North East Region.
The certificate should be issued by the Competent Authority (Deputy Commissioner or an Authorized
Revenue Officer) bearing the name, designation, signature with date and office seal of the issuing officer.
4. Govt. Employee Certificate of Parent/ Legal Guardian, if applicable.
5. Aadhaar Card, if any, of the candidate.
6. Scanned copy of Bank Pass Book or Canceled Cheque, if available, or else the student is required to open
bank account in the SBI after admission.
7. Private Business Certificate, if applicable.
8. Legal Guardianship Certificate/Affidavit from first class magistrate, if applicable.
9. Parent/Legal Guardian’s Income Certificate from the Competent Authority of the respective District.
10. Medical Fitness Certificate of the candidate as per the format available at
https://nerist.ac.in/sites/default/files/pdf/NHU/2020/Format_of_Medical_Certificate.pdf.
11. Further, you are also required to fill online Anti-Ragging Undertaking on either of the websites
www.amanmovement.org or www.antiragging.in and the copy of the undertaking, as received by email,
should be uploaded.
If you face any problem during form fill up, raise a query by clicking on the Green “Query” button at the
bottom of the left panel and we will respond to it through your registered email. Also, keep checking the
Instruction and Notification sections on the left panel and NERIST website (https://nerist.ac.in) regularly for
updates.
The following points are to be noted in connection with counselling/admission:

(i) Not filling-up of Counselling-cum-Admission form before the scheduled counselling date/time and/or
your absence in offline counselling on the prescribed date and time may be presumed as “Not

Interested” in getting admitted to this Institute and accordingly your candidature may be forfeited for
admission automatically. In such case, no requests for further consideration shall be entertained in any form.

(ii) Any deficiency in the documents, as stated above, will lead to the rejection of your candidature.
(iii) All the documents will be verified before admission. In case of any deficiency in your documents at the
time of admission or furnishing forged/false/incorrect statements/documents at any stage after your
admission/registration to this Institute will lead to cancellation of your admission.
For admission to the available branch as per your preference, the candidate shall be required to pay the following
fees ONLINE immediately upon allotment of seat during counselling.
(a) Admission fee of Rs. 15,660/- approx. for Certificate Courses and Rs. 17,270/- approx. for Degree Courses to
be paid ONLINE by logging into the same account at https://students.targetx.in/NERIST/login. We accept
all forms of online payment (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Debit Card+ATM PIN/ Net Banking/ Wallets/ Cash
Cards/ UPI (for a full list of supported UPI Apps, refer to https://www.npci.org.in/what-we-do/upi/live-
members).
(b) Mess Advance of Rs.16,610/- (approx.) and Hostel Caution Money of Rs. 3,000/- by logging into Hostel
ERP (https://erp.nerist.ac.in/student) from the Payment & Dues page (yellow icon on top-right corner with
INR symbol). We will provide you the login credentials for NERIST ERP via SMS/Email in your registered
mobile number/ email address after admission.
Since NERIST is fully residential Institute, all the students are required to stay in the Institute’s hostels only.
However, hostel seats will be allotted subject to availability of the same. The candidates are advised to bring their
bedding, clothing, mosquito net, etc., while coming to stay in the hostel. Freshers’ Orientation Programme will be held
online on 9th August 2023 from 4.30 P.M onwards. Offline Classes will start from 1st August 2023 [for those who
got admitted through NEE-II & III] and 3rd August 2023 [for those who got admitted through NEE-I]
