Peace Missions

Sitting at a restaurant Aimy and Kym were having lunch together, as Aimy was
new to the mission, Kym wanted to explain some of the details to her. They ordered
sushi and a bowl of pork rice. The art in the room struck up a lot of conversation.
“I like this place,” said Aimy, “some of this art relates to my work. This world map
reminds us of all the places we hope to reach with our mission ship. We hope that one
day we’ll get to see every country in the world.”
“And the dove represents peace as in Peace Missions.” added Kym.
“Yes! We call ourselves Peace Missions and our missionary ship uses that
symbol today. We have a cure for more than just physical health. We also offer
solutions to spiritual, mental and emotional needs. We plan to go to other parts of the
world soon.” added Aimy.
“We have helped many people in various countries since we started, and we
have a goal to serve ten thousand more. Imagine each grain of rice being one person,
we might have ten thousand grains of rice here. Ten thousand is a big number and it
isn’t even the whole world.” Said Aimy. “And this here, is a thank you letter that we got
from our biggest supporter. We’ve received many letters of thanks from other people all
over the world who have received healing from our services. It is an honor to serve. You
could be a big blessing to our mission.”
“I’m so excited to be a part of the solution for many people around the world,”
said Kym. Kym had a look on her face of excitement as she agreed to join their team
for a year.
Aimy looked on Kym with fondness and couldn’t get over the fact that they
would have a new crew mate on the boat with them, and warmly welcomed her to the
team.
