I am writing with great enthusiasm to highly recommend Mr. Mohammed Ali Muhammed for the Chevening
Scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025. As his former teacher at the Ethiopian Institute of Technology -
Mekele, I witnessed Mohammed's academic performance and his leadership capabilities.

When I first met Mohammed in 2013, he made an impression on me right away. Not only did he consistently
demonstrate diligence through thorough preparation and insightful assignments, but he also served as a peer
mentor, guiding project teams with skill and care. Throughout his studies, Mohammed maintained this
dedication, continually developing his skills and deepening his conceptual understanding. Most impressive was
his perseverance in tackling complex coursework, consistently achieving remarkable results.

Mohammed's talents shine beyond the classroom as well. As supervisor of his final year thesis on biogas
production, I witnessed firsthand his outstanding research abilities and innovative thinking. Additionally, he
participated in the university's entrepreneurship competition, receiving top honors for his work developing
powdered milk processing techniques.

Mohammed is sure to succeed in the Chevening Programme because of his consistent academic success, his
intense curiosity, and his outstanding extracurricular activity. Through this experience, I am confident he will
not only achieve great success but also make valuable contributions upon his return to both Ethiopia and the
international community.

It is for these reasons that I offer my strongest and most enthusiastic recommendation of Mr. Mohammed Ali.
He exemplifies the qualities and caliber of the ideal candidate that Chevening Scholarships are looking for.
