Format of PROJECT REPORT With general guide lines on


how to write a Project Report For the students of MBA

Note:
 Consult your Guide from time to time, as well as whenever necessary,
carry out suggested changes by your guide and then proceed for nextstep.

 Work regularly with commitment and ensure you are following Project
Report Activity Completion Schedule and avoid last minute’shustle.

INSTRUCTIONS FORTYPING/PRINTING
The project report should be strictly prepared according to the followingguidelines.

 Finalization of the ProjectReport


Student should obtain clearance from their respective guide before final printing of the final
projectreport.

 Paper
The size of the paper sheet: A4
Typing should be done on one side of the paper.

 Font
Type: New Times
Roman Size: 12

 LineSpacing
Body of the text:1.5 lines
List of tables/graphs/charts/bibliography: Single Line

 Alignment
Title page: Centre
Chapter
heading :Centre
Subheading : Left
Body of Text: Justify

 Margins
At the binding edge (Left) : not less than 3 cm
Other margins (Right, Top, Bottom): not less than 2 cm.

 Titles
All titles and subtitles should be printed in BOLD.
All the Tables/Graphs/Charts/ should have appropriate titles.

 Numbering of theTables/Graphs/Charts

Tables/Graphs/Charts should be numbered in the following fashion. Second


table/Graph/Chart in Second Chapter should be numbered as Table/Graph/Chart No 2.02
where first digit stands for Chapter No. and digits after (.) period stand for serial number of
Table/Graph/Chart in that chapter. Same numbering system should be followed for other
chapters. Tables/Graphs/Charts must be followed by proper explanation and analysis.

JUSTIFICATION -The text should be fully justified

Table of Contents –
The table of contents should list all headings, sub headings after the table of contents page, as well as
any titles preceding it. The title page and Certificate will not find a place among the items listed in the

Table of Contents.
1.5 spacing should be adopted for typing the matter under this head. List of Tables – The list should
use exactly the same captions as they appear above the tables in the body of the report. One and a half
spacing should be adopted for typing the matter under this head.

List of Figures –
The list should use exactly the same captions as they appear below the figures in the body of the text.
One and a half spacing should be adopted for typing the matter under this head.

2.1 Review Literature

Example

Cleland Afful, Jiri Hejkrlik and Tomas Doucha (2015) examined the impact of rural financial
institutions on financing rural farmers. The study analyzed the role of rural banks in agricultural
development and food security of the Birim South District of the Eastern Region of Ghana. The study
evaluated the rationale of the formation of rural banks in Ghana and its impact on rural folks. This
also showed the link between rural banking and food security among farmers. The study concentrated
on the various problems faced by rural farmers in a particular region. The study concluded that rural
banks had a significant positive impact on the people in terms of providing various financial support
and other services when times were hard. It helped them by translating their livelihood into the
reduction of poverty, food security, and financial advisory services.
