The text highlights a clear focus on the impact
of AI on the society and the environment, going
to such lengths with ending the text along the
lines of: “art of assisted survival by making kin
with nonhuman beings”, emphasized by “the
emergence of AI at this moment of crisis makes
that art all the more urgent.” By having a
focused topic, the text is able to have a linear
focus and direction, and to which the readers
would be able to follow along. With this, the
readers would be able to avoid confusion and
sink-in into an in-depth analysis of the focused
topic, which in this text, is the emergence of AI.

accurate and well
researched-information
The information presented throughout the
essay was solidified through using other
sources as textual evidence and citing them. An
example of this is the supporting points of the
“warnings that have come from those who
know technology from the inside” where it was
mentioned several famous names talking about
the downfall of humanity through AI. By having
accurate and well-researched information, we
are able to ensure that the information we
bring to the reader is correct and not fake news,
adding credibility to the text.

REFLECTION
We will admit that AI will help in writing an
essay, if given a topic, however, the essay
will sound almost robotic at times with
complicated words. Although for essays that
deal with providing information which may
let this robotic voice slip in or in essays that
require a personal opinion, the usage of AI
will not be as effective. Through reflecting,
we realized that AI will never replace the
thoughts and feelings of a human being, but
it’ll be of useful assistance.
