has 4 people. I and three partner form a team to present today. In addition, 4p
include: peer pressure, patient and pleasant. You know students in FTU often
mention the phrase “peer pressure”. And to deal with it, each student must be
pleasant and patient. Ftuer always try hard and optimistic in all circumstances.

Today, we are here to talk to you about : how to write an email requesting an
update

At first, I would like to mention some background information about email

asking for an update to you.
The first question: What is an email requesting an update?
You can see the example in the textbook. We can understand an email
requesting is a message asking somebody to do something for you.
You can write a request email anytime you need some new information and
you need to be responded. For example, you want to know more information
about problems related to the project, such as finance, progress, risk rate….If
you're a marketing professional, you might draft these emails to send to your
clients, asking them for feedback.

But it doesn’t stop there. An request email have to follow a lot of basic
principles or particular rules.
1. The first one is getting to the point
In business, time is precious, so the most effective request emails are short
and right to the point. You'll want to be upfront and open about what you
want.
Don't ask for a favor without explaining why.
Put simply, make your intentions clear immediately.
2. Email requests should be concise and clear. Tell someone what you want
and when you want it. Don't leave room for misunderstanding. That doesn't
mean you must be rude but respectful of their time. You should clearly say
your request to receive the most accurate response
3. Ensure that the person you're emailing understands what you're asking them
to do.
Consider ending your email with an actionable step for the recipient. This is
the action you hope they take after reading your email. This may be a link or a
general direction. For example, If you're requesting a meeting, you might ask
the person to contact you back with their availability.
