Definition of Terms

For the readers to fully understand the contents of this study, some important

terms are operationally defined as follows:

CAYENNE PEPPER. Chili peppers have been crushed, roasted, and sifted into a

powder to make this famous spice. It was first used in a village in French Guiana

and is now one of the most widely imported spices on the planet. Cayenne pepper is

a healthy addition to your spice rack since it is packed with nutrients that have been

linked to everything from weight loss to migraine relief.

SPANISH PAPRIKA. Paprika, also known as pimento, is the dried, powdered pods

of the delicious red pepper capsicum annum. This has a moderate flavor and is

appreciated for its deep crimson color. Paprika can be sweet, mild, or spicy.

VANILLA CAKE. A cake but with a more distinct flavor. It simply describes the
flavor of vanilla custard. By including egg yolks in the batter, vanilla cake takes on a
custard flavor and becomes a yellow cake.

CAPSAICIN. Chili peppers, which belong to the Capsicum genus, contain this
active ingredient. It's a chemical irritant for mammals, including humans, that
causes a burning sensation in any tissue it comes into contact with.

CAPSICUM. is the name of a tropical pepper plant genus that comes in a variety of
forms and sizes. The fruit produced by any of these plants is often known as
"capsicum," particularly the dried fruits or peppers that are commonly utilized in
cooking or as medicinal supplements and cures. These plants are highly spicy to the
taste because to the presence of capsaicin, however various species have variable
amounts of heat.

SAFFRON. is considered one of the most prized and desired spices, and it is one of
the most treasured and sought-after plants on the globe. With a millennia-long
history, saffron has been employed for medical, cosmetic, and culinary purposes by
monarchs, pharaohs, and chefs alike.

CONSUMERS. an individual or group of people who buy or utilize products and

services for personal consumption alone, rather than for resale or manufacture. In
the sales distribution chain, they are the end-users.

PEPPER. is the unripe dry fruit produced by the piper nigrum plant. Pepper is a
beloved spice all over the world, and it is often used in all cuisines due to its strong
fragrance, peppery/hot flavor, and health-promoting characteristics.

ALLEVIATE. to lessen the severity of anything unpleasant, such as pain or

difficulty.
