Mount Bromo
Mount Bromo, which is part of the Bromo Tegger Semeru National Park (TNBTS), is one od
Indonesia’s most popular tourist destinations. Located in East Java, the active volcano is nestled
in the regencies of Probolinggo Pasuruan, Lumajang and Malang.
Tourist usually spend one to two days marvelling at the sunrise and the crater. But the
place also hosts other attractions which are worth exploring.
The dry season is the recommended time to visit Mt. Bromo. Those arriving during the
rainy season should expect a less perfect sunrise or sunset view due to the fog.
However, exploring the luss greenery of Teletubbies Hill is a much better experience during
the rainy season. Mount Bromo has always been crowded, even outside the holiday period.
Foreign travellers usually visit the area on weekdays, meanwhile locals mostly travel there on
weekends.
Although mostly clod, the weather on the mountain and its sorrounding area can be
unpredictable. Sometimes it is sunny in the morning, yet later becomes foggy with littles drops
of rain in the afternoon. During our trip there in mid-July, temperatures ranged from 8 to 18 0C.

German Recycling System

Not all countries generate the same mount of waste. The United Sates, for example, generates
three times the global average of waste. However, German citizens throw away th=en kilograms
of waster per month, this in not only half the world’s waste generation per capita, but it also
50% less than the amount the country generated in 1985. This has been achieved thanks to an
efficient waste recycling system rated as the best in the world.

The German’s recycling system uses six different bins classified according to a color system,
which tells users what kinds of waste they can input into each of them. The yellow is for
plastics, the blue is for paper and cardboard, the whote for clear glass, the brown for colored
glass, the green for food waste and organic matter and a sixth bin, gray for other waste that
cannot be recycled.

Vegetarians

There are many reasons why people become vegetarians, including personal health, the
environment, and the economy.
A vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat, poultry, and fish. Vegetarians mostly eat
fruit, vegetables, legumes, grains, seeds, and nuts. Vegetarians also consume eggs and dairy
products, but they avoid meat products such as beef, chicken stocks, and gelatin.
According to research, vegetarian have lower risk of heart disease, high cholesterol,
diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. This may happen due to a healthy vegetarian
diet which has low fat but high fiber. However, a vegetarian diet can be high in fat if it
includes excessive amounts of fatty snacks, fried food, whole dairy products, and eggs.
At the same time, a vegetarian diet can be simple and easy to prepare. Therefore, a
vegetarian diet must be well – planned to prevent and treat certain diseases.

SMOKING IN THE RESTAURANT

Smoking in a restaurant is just not disturbing. It must not be allowed because it is rude,
harmful to other and dangerous for the smokers.
First, Smoking in a restaurant is impolite. The smell of the smoke pay to taste good food and
not to be put off by foul smelling smoke.
Another reason, Smoking should not be allowed in a restaurant is the harm it can do to
others. Passive smoking that is breathing in smoke made by a smoker can lead to asthma attacks
and even cancer.
Finally, Smoking is dangerous and a health risk to the smokers. Cigarettes cause heart and
disease, and people should not smoke anywhere, not just in restaurants.
Therefore, Smoking in a restaurant is impolite, harmful to others and a health risk to the
smokers and should not be allowed in any restaurants.
