Work, Health and Safety Policy

Trinity Constructions (Aust) Pty Ltd & related entities (Trinity) are dedicated to providing a safe
and healthy workplace for all workers, and members of the publics as its highest priority. Trinity aims to
promote the highest standard of safety to prevent and eliminate injury, loss or damage.

The Trinity WHS plan is designed to dedicate all necessary resources available to comply with obligations
under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011, to
actively promote safe work practices among all employees, and encourage participation and contribution
towards Health and Safety.

Trinity understands all the risks associated with work tasks at all stages of construction and proactively
design control measures tailored to all situations. Trinity ensures open and honest communication
between all staff members including Trinity management, employees, and contractors.

Objectives:

The objectives of the Trinity WHS Management Plan are:

 To proactively work towards an accident free workplace


 To make Health and Safety a key part of every supervisory position
 To achieve and maintain AS4801 accreditation through Sai Global
 To ensure compliance, so far as reasonably practical, with all legislative requirements, relevant
standards and codes of practice
 To continually monitor all objectives and targets and ensure continual improvement in WHS
performance through management review meetings
 To ensure all incidents and accidents are appropriately reported, investigated and appropriate
actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence
 To ensure the effective risk management through hazard identification, assessment, control and
monitoring as far as reasonably practical
 To promote workplace safety awareness and a strong safety culture through education and
training
 To ensure compliance of all works to all WHS procedures and site rules through disciplinary
actions (warnings, expulsions, improvement requests)
 To ensure a safe, timely and durable return to work for all injured employees
 To ensure all staff are aware of their Work Health and Safety responsibilities

This policy will be:

- Reviewed annually
- Displayed in all Trinity Offices and Worksites and its location will be communicated to all workers
at induction.
- Issued to all interested parties at tendering stage or at any time on request
Resources:

Trinity Management has allocated the following resources to ensure effective implementation,
maintenance and improvement of the Trinity Work Health and Safety Management System.

HUMAN Management is delegated to work in consultation with all Trinity staff to


ensure the WHS Management System is effectively implemented, and
RESOURCES
maintained.

SPECIALISED SKILLS Trinity refers to SAI Global to complete ongoing audit the WHS
management system to ensure compliance.
Trinity refers to Portfolio Training to review the effectiveness of our WHS
Management System, assist in training staff and undertake internal audits
of the WHSMS.

TECHNOLOGY All documentation is backed up over the Trinity Sever.


Paper copies are scanned and placed on the server to ensure all
documents are backed up.

FINANCIAL The WHSMS Has been allocated a budget of $25 000 for the financial year
RESOURCES ending June 2015 financial year.

Legal and other requirements

Trinity WHS Management System ensure compliance to all requirements under the WHS Act 2011, WHS
Regulations 2011, relevant Australian Standards and relevant NSW Codes of Practice.

The project Risk Register shows the relevant legislation, standard or code which applies to all Trinity
activities. Site specifics SWMS will detail the same requirements for all activities onsite which is deemed
high risk.

Accessing:

The Work Health and Safety Act, the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011, construction related
Codes of Practice and relevant Australian Standards are made available on the Server or by contacting
management. Users may find the relevant document by referring to the Project Risk Register.

Monitoring legislative changes:

Management is delegated to periodically monitor the WorkCover website for legislative changes and will
monitor Safe Work Australia to ensure that the latest Codes of Practice are used. Changes to the WHS
Management System will be made to reflect any legislative or code changes.
