What have I learned about reflective practice?


These videos help me to understand the meaning of reflective
practice as it requires that teachers themselves remain lifelong
learners, combining critical reading, critical thinking, and critical
practice to ensure that they provide the best learning experiences
possible for their learners. it also help me to understand the principles
of reflective practice and the steps to apply reflective practice.

What were your attitude about the teacher in these videos? Was she
good or bad?
The teacher was very helpful, clear, patient , active listening the
information and has Excellent communication skills to get information
to me ;Although she cannot communicate directly with me but she
was successfully able to get the information about the topic .

What was good about these videos?


The videos were really good at Teaching the topices without being
too boring, it demonstrate the principles of the reflective approach
and make it more informative and interesting .
What sense can you make of the videos
The definition of reflective practice and it’s theories as reflection-in-
action that We reflect on action, thinking back on what we have done
in order to discover how our knowing-in-action may have contributed
to an unexpected outcome” . and reflection-on-action that Reflect on
actions that have already occurred, usually, but not always , fairly
soon after the event. and reflection-for-action that is defined as
reflection before action or teachers use reflection to solve problems
happening while they’re teaching, as well as to tackle the problems or
situations that they predict will happen in their future teaching.
What would you do differently next time?
Next time I will try to search about videos to Learn to reflect on
learners and the learning processes as well as the content; Learn to
integrate ideas from others and experiences to improve teaching;
Understand that reflective practitioners are active, persistent,
careful, skeptical, rational and proactive; and identify four distinct
levels of reflection represented diagrammatically as Pre-reflection,
Surface Reflection, Pedagogical Reflection and critical reflection.
