CAN AI REPALCE JOBS?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide-ranging branch of computer science

concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that
typically require human intelligence.
According to a report by investment bank Goldman Sachs AI could replace the
equivalent of 300 million full-time jobs.
It could replace a quarter of work tasks in the US and Europe.

It could eventually increase the total annual value of goods and services
produced globally by 7%. The report notes AI's impact will vary across
different sectors - 46% of tasks in administrative and 44% in legal professions
could be automated but only 6% in construction and 4% in maintenance, it says .

While it is true that AI has the potential to automate many tasks that are
currently performed by humans, it is unlikely that it will completely replace
human workers in their jobs.

One of the reasons that AI is not likely to replace human workers is because it is
still limited in its abilities. While AI algorithms can be trained to perform
specific tasks with a high degree of accuracy, they are not capable of the kind of
creative thinking and problem-solving that humans excel at. This means there
will always be a need for human workers in fields requiring these skills, such as
research, design, and strategic planning.
Another reason why AI is not likely to replace human workers is because many
jobs require a human touch. For example, jobs in the service industry, such as
bartenders, and customer service representatives, rely heavily on interpersonal
skills and the ability to understand the customers. These are skills that AI
algorithms cannot replicate, so there will always be a need for human workers
in these fields.
As AI becomes more advanced, it is likely that new industries and job
opportunities will be created. For example, the growth of the AI industry has
already led to the creation of new jobs in fields such as data science and
machine learning. As AI continues to advance, it is likely that even more job
opportunities will be created, offsetting any potential job losses.
So the replacement of AI depends on the advancement made in it.
