Only one type of engine will be employed worldwide and it will use either leaded or unleaded gasoline with a minumum octane rating of RON 96 / MaN 86. All cars will be equipped with an active carbon tank system for emissionless fuel tank venting. Flywheel, water pump body, oil cooling system, fuel mixture and exhaust system were designed especially for a supercharged engine.
