Nowadays vehicle networks are used to implement applications related to vehicles

drivers vehicle traffic and pedestrians

These applications are known as Intelligent Transportation Systems and require a
special infrastructure which is composed
by On Board units OBUs installed on vehicles and Road Side Units RSUs which compose
the infrastructure Vehicular networking
applications can be classified as safety-related applications Traffic-efficiency
and management applications and infotainment
applications Safety-related applications are the applications that are deployed to
decrease the probability of traffic accidents
and the loss of lives of the occupants of the vehicles Safety related applications
provide information and assistance to
the drivers to avoid collisions with other vehicles These applications require
vehicles equipped with special equipment
like sensors and actuators to collect data This class of vehicles is not abundant
in Tunisia That’s why we aim to propose
a safety-related application that provides the same features of other sophisticated
applications by considering the infrastructure
problems and the categories of vehicles available in Tunisia
