- Anuraag Krishna
With the theme of “Explore the World of Future Mobility”, Auto Expo The Motor Show
2023 was held from January 13 to 18 at Greater Noida’s India Expo Mart. Over 114
stakeholders in the industry, including 48 vehicle manufacturers, attended the 16th auto expo.
Over 75 vehicle launches and unveilings, including five global premieres, are also anticipated
for the show.
The biannual automobile show last took place in February 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic
prevented it from taking place in 2022.
To "Explore the Greener World of Indian Mobility," the industry hopes to provide visitors
with a different perspective and experience at this year's Auto Expo. Companies displayed
new generation fuel advancements at the Auto Expo 2023. For the first time ever, ethanol
was given specific attention at the event.
The Auto Expo 2023 might have had fewer participants when compared to the previous
editions, but they came out all guns blazing with multiple model displays. According to
organisers, this year's motor show have featured three exclusive pavilions, one of which is the
ethanol pavilion, where two- and four-wheeler producers including TVS Motor, Hero
MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Bajaj Auto, Yamaha Motor India, Suzuki
Motorcycle India, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, and Toyota Kirloskar Motors will display
working prototypes of Flex Fuel vehicles.
The "Super Car Pavilion," which featured expensive luxury cars, and the "Historic Car
Pavilion," which displayed vintage collections, are among the other pavilions.
Additionally, there was a significant presence of start-ups that produce electric vehicles
across all categories at the exhibition. The event featured all types of electric vehicles,
including pure EV passenger cars, two- and three-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
The automobiles that were displayed, show that the automobile industry is going for a
greener world and will grow at a rapid pace by doing innovations with the machines.
