I. Introduction:

Success in a teaching certain scientific skills is based on the ability to make good
measurements but before you can make good measurements, the ability to convert from one
unit to another is significant. It is relevant to be familiar with conversion units and also to be
able to convert between different units of measure.

II. Objectives:

At the end of this activity,the students will be able to:

a. convert from one unit to another unit, and

b. cite importance of measurement in daily life

quantity of life.

• Measurement provides a standard for every day things and processes.

• Measurements may also enable us to make decisions on the basis of the

measurement result.

• Measuring certain things correctly is very necessary including distance, time, and
accuracy.

• Measurement is essential for us to understand the external world, and through

millions of years of life, we have developed a sense of measurement.
