Lapeer County DNR Forest Roads Map


Per Public Act 288 of 2016; Forest Road Inventory in the Northern
State Forest Roads: 11.6 Miles Lower Peninsula Land Use Order of the Director Amendment No. 5
of 2017; and the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection
State Forest Roads Open to ORVs: 1.5 Miles Act 1994 PA 451, as amended, which authorizes the Director to

Non-Motorized Trails
The normal and continuing use of state forest roads is to provide

the general public with access to state forest lands for a variety of
recreational purposes and to provide the DNR with road access
for management and land protection purposes. These state
forest roads may also provide on an incidental, nonexclusive,
permissive-use basis, access to private lands. The public may use
state forest roads as long as the DNR allows the road to remain

open to general public use. As members of the public, adjacent
Forest Resources Division landowners may also utilize state forest roads. However, unless
