ICT WX Home Page

This is your ICT WX Home Page. It could be a little daunting at first,
but this guide will help you master navigating through this homepage.
Not every WX system equal, there are different versions of WX that
you may have. Every step in this guide will apply to every version of WX
but may look different or be under a different tab.

Adding New Users / Cards

Users are the individuals that are assigned Cards and what they may
do with those cards.
1. Find the Users tab near the
top of your screen and
click the Users submenu

2. Near the top right, select Add

The New User Window

should look like this

3. Fill in the appropriate

information in the
boxes. Not everything in
the form must be filled
out, just enough to have
an idea what the Card is
and what is it for. PIN
Codes are for any
Keypad connected to the
WX System including door

keypads & alarm keypads.

We have included some examples below

4.

The most important part Is to give the User an Access Level. Above the form
for the New User, there should be a couple tabs. Click on the Access tab.

There should be a blank page with just an Add & Delete button. Click the
Add button and a window should pop open like the one below.

A Representative from CITILOC will have programmed Access Levels

in advance. Most common Access Levels would be the Master Access
for all doors in the building & Resident Access for anything essential
like Parking & Elevator Access without having access to private rooms.

5. Do not forget to click save to save any

changes made to a User or else all
changes made will be lost

Adding New Access Levels

Access levels are the meat and potatoes of your access control system to limit and access
individual doors in your building. Access Levels will allow your credentials to open programmed
doors and determine how traffic goes throughout your building with a staff only door, master
only doors or just residents for amenities you could program as many doors or as little doors as
you like per access level.

1. Under users click Access Levels

7
WX User Guide

2. Press the Add button on the Top

Right

3. A fillable page like the one below should be present

4. Fill out the name as you like, could be a sublease company or something
simple like “Janitor”. Anything that fits the bill for what you need

5. After that we can head over to the Doors tab and assign doors to the access
level

8
WX User Guide

6. There will be a blank page with an option to Include

All Doors, and an Add & Delete button. Click Add
and a window should open

7. Add every door you would like the fob to have access to and press save on
the top right when finished.

8. When finished you should have a list like the one below

9
WX User Guide

9. If you would like to enable Master Access, follow these steps below

Beside the Doors tab, click on Door Groups

A window like the one below should pop up.

There is a checkbox beside “Include All Doors”

Click the Check Box beside Include All Doors to
include every door on site for access

The New Access Level that you have created now

has master access and may be used on any card
reader.

10.If your building has an elevator, do not forget to add floor groups

Go to the Floor Groups Tab at the Top

10
WX User Guide

A page should show like the one below where

you can Add or Delete a Floor Group. Click
Add

A window should show up like the one below and select all the Floors you
would like to add to the access level

If you would like to add all floors to your Access

Level, please select Include All Floor Groups near
the top of the page.

11.Following the floor groups is the Elevator Access to allow access to any of
the elevators on site. Click on the elevator groups tab

11
WX User Guide

Majority of the time, if you have access to one

elevator you have access to all of them,
therefore just clicking the Include All Elevators
checkbox to activate the fob for every elevator
connected to a card reader.
If there are specific elevators, you would like to give access to. For example,
there is a North and South elevator, one for residents and one for businesses
in one building; separating these elevators by access level may be better for
keeping your building secure.

12.Do not forget to click save, last thing you

want is to lose every change you made

Temporary Access Card

If you have someone working inside the building and want to give them
temporary access with their own Card Number.

1. Navigate to Users

12
WX User Guide

2. Add a User or Find an existing user that you would like to give temporary
access to

3. At the bottom there are start and end times.

The Start time is if you want the card to be activated on a certain day, for
instance when someone moving into a new apartment, and you want their
Card to work as soon as they move in.

The end time is disabling the User at a certain date like someone takes their
leave from a company and his last day is that Friday so you set up the expiry
as the hour the business closes on Friday.

Monitoring and Audit Logs

Finding Events & Card Numbers have never been
easier. The Monitoring Tab allows you to look at
everything that goes on in the WX system.

14
WX User Guide

If you ever need to find a Card number or see when a door has been opened
when it was not supposed to, here is where you can see it happen in real
time.

The Events tab

The Events tab is your main hub for finding real time audits of what is
going on at any time. Majority of the time its just something to gloss over
occasionally as its just an overload of events of people opening and closing
doors around a building. If you ever need something more in depth like a
card number or if a door is open when its not supposed to be. The Doors
Status List is where you need to go.

The Doors
Status List
The Doors Status List gives you a list of every door that is
live in the building. This gives you a more focused look on what is
happening at each door.

Lock The lock button will lock the door as normal. You will need
a card for the card reader to unlock the door.
Unlock This will unlock your door for anyone to use until you turn it
off. Anyone may pass through without having to use the card
reader.
Unlock Latched The door will be latched in the unlocked state until acted
upon from a keypad, schedule, change in area state such as
an alarm, or in the interface itself.

Allow Entry Allows Entry through the programmed entrance side of the
door for instance a door leading into a stairwell but does not
allow passage through the exit to get back through the same
door even if you have a card that has access to the door.
Allow Exit Exit is the inverse of the entry above, allows people through

the programmed exit side of the door but the card on the
entrance side will not be operational.
Allow Entry + Allows the operation of card readers on both sides of the
Exit door.
Deny Entry + This button puts the door on full lockdown. Any Card
Exit Readers & automatic unlock schedules attached to the door
will not work.
Clear Treat this as a reset button. This will clear any controls you
have made remotely, and the door will function as normal
