ABOUT ME

As the leader of the National Youth Foundation's Youth Center, I oversaw daily operations and organized diverse
activities for our community. I also interned with the Romanian Government at ANCOM, contributing to telecom
policies. With a degree in Social Sciences from Victor Babes National College, I aim to promote social change,
inclusivity, and sustainability.

THE DIGITALIZATION OF EDUCATION: THE PARADIGM OF DEVELOPMENT (Case study: Academy of

This study explores the transition to online learning in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on
students' academic performance. The research is based on interviews, using the interview guide as a research
tool. The results show that the COVID-19 period accelerated the evolution of digitization in education and that the
transition to online learning was difficult for both students and teachers. Despite improvements in teaching-
learning methods, students' academic performance did not evolve with the shift to online learning. However, the
imposition of drastic social distancing measures in the university environment has been beneficial. This research
can be used as a starting point for future research and to highlight the importance of adapting to major changes
in education. Limitations of the research include limited time and the exploratory nature of the study. The next
stages of the research will consist of further detailing the literature and expanding the population universe and
sample. The research highlights the need to adapt to major changes and further investigate the impact of online
learning on students' academic performance.

PROJECTS

The programme3 is an extensive training programme for current and future young people involved in the third
sector, in a school-based approach for those who want to contribute to the development of civil society in
Romania and beyond. The programme3 proposes a year-long learning process, structured in two semesters,
following a predefined curriculum, complemented by a personalised learning process.
This process comprises the following components:
- Technical content on working in non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
- Thematic content on local community involvement through development
community development, public participation techniques and methods, and projects for the benefit of the
community.
