ACTIVITIES / EXERCISES 2
1. Self-analysis. What is your position on diversity in the workplace? How would
you describe your attitude toward diversity? Be detailed in your analysis.
There is a saying that says, "Two heads are better than one." And for me, what
makes it better is because of their diversity. Teamwork becomes stronger and
reliable not only because of its member's similarities but also because of their
different opinions and beliefs. A discussion comes from diverse opinions,
suggestions, and perspectives. And that's when we can fully address issues or
problems and create a better plan, especially in the workplace. So, for me, diversity
is definitely not a bad thing. Difficulties and problems may arise from a diverse
community and workplace, but we can rather use this as an opportunity to have
greater and better productivity in the workplace. If diversity means having better
teamwork and better results, then I would gladly accept and utilize this diversity.
2. Web Crawling. Find and present an online article on diversity in a country other
than the United States. What commonalities are exposed and what differences are
shown to exist?
