Cholestest® Control 1/2

Cholestest® Control is used for data management of HDl-cholesterol, LDl-cholesterol, total cholesterol or
triglyceride in human serum or plasma when using Cholestest® N HDL, Cholestest® LDL, Pureauto S TG-N or
Pureauto S CHO-N on automatic analyzers.

Preperation
1. Reconstitute one vial of Cholestest® Control with 1.0 mL of purified water. Gently invert the vial for about
20 times and leave to stand for1 hour at room temperature.
2. Gently invert the reconstituted control again before use.
3. The reconstituted control is stable for 1 week when stored at 2 - 10oC or 1 month when stored at below -
20oC.
4. Do not re-thawing or re-frizzed.

Handling Precautions
1. Cholestest® Control is only for data control on automatic analyzers. Do not use it for any other
purposes.
2. The human material used in formulating Cholestest® Control has been tested and found to be
negative for HBS antigen, HIV antibody (AIDS Virus antibody), and HCV antibody. However,
the specimens and reagants should still be heated as if contained such infectious viruses or
other pathogens. Handle the reagents and samples with care.
