Title of Advocacy Performance:

“Mirror de Edad”

Isang pagtatanghal na naglalayong maimulat ang mga pikit na kamalayan sa reyalidad at sa totoong
hamon ng buhay ng mga batang Pilipino.

Key Advocacy Message:

Annually, 80% of the Filipino children have experienced same form of violence in their lifetime. This
includes physical and psychological violence, sexual violence, bullying, exploitation and violence in the
internet. Violence seriously harms children physically and psychologically, hampers their development
and violates their right protection.
As the COVID-19 pandemic entered out country, Philippines, the number of cases of violence against
children reached 4,747and continue to rise until now. Thus, we make the public aware of what violence
against children is and how it happens. We encourage and organize individuals and groups to support
our advocacy for child protection. Together we are hoping that these efforts will bring us closer to
achieving for our children a future that is free from violence.

Target Audience:

Ang dulang ito ay magsisilbing boses ng mga Pilipinong Menor de Edad (17 below). Ang mga tauhan o
karakter na kumakatawan sa dulang ito ay may kaisipan para sa mga magulang, mga bata, organisasyon,
at mga leader ng mga departamentong may naturang kaalaman patungkol sa karapatang pang bata. Ang
dulang ito ay magsisilbing karagdagang kaalaman sa kamalayan ng bawat Pilipino. Inaasahan ng dulang
ito na humimok ng partisipasyon, atensiyon at suporta mula sa mga nasabing madla.
