NARRATIVE REPORT FOR PASTA

Our team took on the task of creating a delectable Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo dish, combining
our efforts to craft a meal that would wow our chef. I was responsible for making the pasta from
scratch, while my colleagues whipped up the creamy white sauce.

For the homemade pasta, I used all-purpose flour (APF), a dash of olive oil, eggs, and a pinch of
salt. The idea was to make the pasta dough as fresh as possible to elevate the dish. The dough
came together well, but it appears that the pasta needed more time to cook through. It turned out
a tad undercooked, leaving it slightly chewy and harder to bite into than desired. We realized that
if we had given the pasta a bit more time in the boiling water, it might have been just right.

The sauce prepared by my colleagues consisted of milk, APF, cheese, and heavy cream. The
sauce had a rich and creamy texture, which complemented the chicken and pasta quite nicely. It
had all the classic elements of a Fettuccine Alfredo sauce, and it tasted good.
However, while our Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was tasty, it fell short of impressing our
discerning chef. The undercooked pasta was the main culprit, as it detracted from the overall
dining experience. We'll have to ensure our pasta is cooked to perfection next time to meet the
chef's high expectations.
In conclusion, our team's effort in creating the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was a delicious
endeavor, but we learned the importance of paying close attention to the cooking time of the
homemade pasta. In the future, we will strive to improve our dish and aim to leave a lasting
impression on our chef with a perfectly cooked meal.
