“Pakistan Studies is a multidiscipline subject in which we study about culture , history ,
geography and politics of Pakistan ”

Scope of Pakistan Studies :

One can have bright career opportunities if he /she is doing BS , MS or Phd in Pakistan Studies .
As we know that it is an multidiscipline subject so it’s scope is also multidisciplinary as it deals
with the history of the genesis of Pakistan , it’s geography , geo politics , culture , society ,
religion , economy and other social issues . As the scope of Pakistan Studies is getting wider day
by day so many universities and colleges are offering Bs , MS and PhD in this subject . After
doing BS in Pakistan Studies One can get a job as a teacher in any schools , colleges and
universities with a good salary package .

After doing MS in Pakistan Studies one can get number of jobs in the country and outside the
country like all international level global print and electronic media need the service of expert of
Pakistan affairs . Pakistan Studies also deals with the variety of subjects which makes us an
expert of many fields like history , international relationship , Political Science , Sociology ,
geography and local languages . This degree also helps in the CSS and PMS exams . This degree
also help to get jobs in foreign ministries . That’s the reason Pakistan Studies is most recommend
degree for the students who want to appear in the competitive exams .

One of the best scope of this degree is to join print or electronic media . After completing this
degree one can also work with NGO’s in the country or outside the country . This degree also
help to work as a researcher or a Political analyst . He / she also work in museums or in
publishing house’s . If someone want to work at international level than go for MPhil or PhD in
Pakistan Studies . Indeed this is a very useful degree with a lot career opportunities .

Importance of Pakistan Studies :

Pakistan Studies is a subject of great importance as we know that it is a multidiscipline subject .

It is considered as an important subject because through it we come to know the history ,
geography , culture , religion and internal and external politics of Pakistan . To me Pakistan
Studies is very important subject because it is a source to create patriotism in the heart of
students so that they may become a good citizen . It also play important role to get to know the
ideology of Pakistan , struggle of Muslims for emergence of an ideological state and efforts for
achieving the goal of Islamization . It is also very important to know about the issues which
Pakistan is facing and will face in it’s near future .

In 1980 Pakistan Studies was introduced as a compulsory subject at the secondary and higher
secondary level . The main importance of this subjects is to promote national integration ,
cohesion, solidarity and harmony amoung the new generations . This subject is also very worth
full because this is the very good source for students to know all the history of Pakistan . It also
help to get to know the culture of different areas of Pakistan . It is also very important to know
about the international politics and the role of Pakistan in it . So to me Pakistan Studies is very
important subject to know all about Pakistan in detail and what happened in the past . That is
why Pakistan Studies is considered as an important subject .

Finally I conclude that Pakistan Studies is a subject of great scope and importance . As it deals
with history , geography , culture , religion and politics of Pakistan . As it is also a source to get
the past history of Pakistan . This subject tell us who our forth father’s fight to get Pakistan .
Pakistan Studies is also very important for students who want to appear in competitive exams .
According to me this subject contain a lot of importance because it contacts us to variety of
subjects . This also make us able to speak about international relationship it also increase our
general knowledge . To me Pakistan Studies is such a worth full subject and gives a lot of
advantages .
