I like contemporary dance the most.

improvisation, and contact improvisation. The choreography is usually abstract and explores

Dancers' Teamwork: Contemporary dance is based on the idea of collaboration and mutual
respect between dancers. Teamwork is essential to the process of creating a piece of contemporary
dance.

Music Selected: Contemporary dance is often accompanied by contemporary music, such as jazz,
