commodities, services, information, and funds as they travel from the
place of origin to the point of consumption is known as supply chain
management . The ultimate objective of supply chain management is to
provide value to customers while reducing costs and maximizing
efficiency. It includes all operations and tasks involved in the purchase,
manufacture, distribution, and logistics of goods or services.

Like other industries, the hotel sector also relies heavily on the
supply chain. The administration of the goods and services
needed to run hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other hospitality
establishments is at the center of the hospitality industry's
