is a wonderful day to have our General
Assembly, right Paul?
Paul: Yes, Mika!
Mika: Paul, can you please tell our
audience kung ano ang dapat nilang
abangan sa ating General Assembly
today?
Paul: Syempre today we will have our
orientation and we will know ano nga ba
ang roles and responsibilities natin as
campus journalists. Most importantly
today we will pledge as official campus
journalists through the Oath Taking
Ceremony. Excited na ba kayo?

Mika: At dahil excited na sila, without
further ado, we would like to welcome
you all for The Cornerstone Student
Publication Academic Year 2023-2024
General Assembly with the theme
‘JOURNey to the Top: Honing 21 st
Century Truth Seekers Towards
Transformative Future’. This is Mika
Ferraris…
Paul: …and this is Paul John Tejada.
Together: And we are your masters of
ceremony for today.
Mika: To officially start our program, let
us offer a moment of silence for the
opening prayer. Please rise and feel the
presence of the Lord as we ask for his
guidance and glory for today’s
ceremony.

Paul: Please remain standing for our

Paul: You may all now be seated.
 And of course, a ceremony would
be more meaningful and exciting
when we hear a sweet taste of
inspirational words from someone
whose love for the campus
journalism has been evident
since day one. He was the former
co-adviser, and now the adviser
of The Cornerstone Student
Publication.
Prof. Richard Adrian Kenn D.
Pargan for our opening remarks,

for the wonderful opening remarks.
 Hephep! Wait, there’s more. Let’s
all welcome our beloved Campus
Administrator Prof. Ronan M.
Cajigal to give us a message.

Paul: Thank you so much Prof. Ronan
M. Cajigal for that inspiring and
wonderful message for The Cornerstone
Publication.
 Now, let’s move on to the first
part of our program. Shall we?
Mika: That’s right, Paul. As a matter of
fact, for the first part of our program we
will be having the orientation part.
Paul: In this part we will tackle the
house rules and basics of campus
journalism to start with.
Mika: So, what are we waiting for? Let
us all welcome on stage our one and
only Editor-In-Chief, Ms. Crystalle Mae
A. Genson to discuss the said matters.

Paul: Thank you so much, Chief, for
giving us a quick recap about the basics
of campus journalism and its salient
features. And now, we will proceed to
one of the most important parts of this
program- the discussion of Constitution
and Bylaws. To give us insights about
our rights, and roles and responsibilities,
may we call on our adviser, Prof.
Richard Kenn Adrian D. Pargan to be
followed by our Editor-In-Chief, Ms.
Crystalle Mae A. Genson.

the beginning for the Cornerstone A.Y
2023-2024 there’s a lot to look forward
to and now, to officially end our program
