COLLEGE GRADUATION SCRIPT

1. PRELIMINARY REMINDERS

Hark: Good morning graduating students, parents, faculty members,


administrators, and honorable guests. The ACLC College of Balanga 20th
Commencement Exercises will commence shortly. Please make your way
at the entrance so we could start with the academic procession. May I also
request everyone to turn your mobile devices in silent mode to avoid
interruptions and any electronic interference in the duration of our
program. Thank you.

2. INTRODUCTION

Hark: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a time of
rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the
commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s
quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the culmination of
many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge that will
enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges with
clear vision and purpose. Friends, welcome to the 20th Commencement
Exercises of ACLC College of Balanga, with this year’s theme: “Gen Z
Graduates: Resilience toward the Changing World of Work.”

Now, with delight, let us laud this graduating class as they march towards
this great hall, together with their parents.

Hark: This commencement exercises is now in order.

So, to invoke the presence of the Almighty God to bless this momentous
ceremony, let us reflect on this prayer through an AVP.

5. PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM

Hark: Now let us show our deference by standing still in the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem, to be led by Ms. Angela C. Bagtas, P.E.

6. WELCOME ADDRESS
Hark: Thank you! And please, be seated.

Hark: Welcoming you here today is especially meaningful as we honor our


graduates and celebrate their achievements.

So, to formally welcome us all, may I call in our devoted school director,
Ms. Mylene Alonzo-Serrano.

7. PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Hark: ACLC College of Balanga is an institution that never falters to equip its
students with holistic IT-based education and a curriculum that is germane
to their needs.

Now, to deliver the message of our dear chairman, Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz,
V, who constantly strive in providing innovative learning, may I call in our
Area Director, Mr. Ferdinand Nebres.

8. MESSAGE ON BEHALF OF GRADUATES

Hark: Now, to deliver his message on behalf of the graduating class, let us all
welcome the stellar of his batch, let’s give it up for John Paulo T. Peña,
cum laude.

and gentlemen, join me in welcoming Rev. Arnel I. Fernandez for his
inspirational message.

GRADUATION

Hark: Now, to do the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for graduation,
may we call on stage Ms. Ann Kimberly S. Bernal, our Branch Registrar,
followed by the acceptance and confirmation of the graduates by none
other than Ms. Lora L. Yusi, officer-in-charge of the Commission on
Higher Education Regional Office III.

14. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMA

Hark: How about another round of applause to your new graduates, the Batch
2019 of ACLC College of Balanga?
Dear graduates the moment you have been waiting for has finally come.
The fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be
receiving your prized diploma, a symbol of accomplishment.

May I now request the graduates, together with their parents, to make
their way for the distribution of the diplomas.

To join us in handing out the certificates to our graduates, may I call in


our Managing Directors, Mr. Victor D. Eusebio and Mr. Ramon D.
Jacinto, our commencement speaker and CHEDRO-III officer-in-charge,
Ms. Lora L. Yusi, and our Area Director, Mr. Ferdinand Nebres.

Now, may I call in, Mr. Joseph A. Sicat, Senior High School Coordinator,
to read the roll of graduates receiving the diplomas.

15. AWARDING OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND OTHER AWARDS

Hark: Graduation is an important milestone. This is also a proud moment for


students who are finishing this academic journey with flying colors! All the
hard work and the nights of burning the midnight oil paid off. And of
course, parents feel prouder when they see their sons and daughters
receive recognitions for their academic excellence and achievements.

May I request the awardees, with their parents, to get ready for the
awarding ceremony.

We will be joined by our School Director, Ms. Mylene Alonzo-Serrano,


Officer-in-charge, Ms. Edebeth T. Manalaysay, and the acting Dean of
the College, Ms. Charlotte A. Manalaysay, in handing out the
certificates.

So, without further remarks, may I call again Mr. Joseph A. Sicat to
present the Academic Excellence and other awards to our deserving
students.

Engineering, cum laude, let’s welcome the man of the hour, Arren Ryan
B. Ilaya.

the movement of time. Through a song that emphasizes holding onto
one’s dreams, let us hear the graduates render their graduation song
entitled, “A Million Dreams” to be led by Iraña S. Bout, Pauline M.
Maninang, and Allyssa Mae N. Dizon. Let’s give them a big hand.

19. PLEDGE OF LOYALTY

20. CONCLUSION

Hark: So, the closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and
opportunities await our graduates that will further test their mettle as
improving individuals. As they continue with their journey, may they look
back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies and
gentlemen, this concludes the 20th Commencement Exercises of ACLC
College of Balanga. This has been Hark Herald C. Sarmiento, thanking you
