Karla: James Humes once said, "The art of communication is the language of leadership" This quote
signifies the reason why we, aspiring English educators, are taught to be communicative in teaching and
in just simple everyday communication, whether in verbal or non-verbal.

Laureen: I absolutely agree with that. This pandemic may robbed us in face-to-face experience, but it
will never stop us to develop our skills that are essential to our future career.

Karla: And with these things in mind, we are being challenged to continue moving forward despite the
obstacles we are facing.

Laureen: Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of our SEWS officers and adviser, we are your hosts – This is
Anna Laureen Ramos

Karla: and this is Karla Pauline Caguioa, a wonderful afternoon to each and everyone.

Laureen: We warmly welcome you to our webinar entitled “Unveil your Skill: Write Out!”

Karla: With the theme: “Refining Formal and Technical Writing Strategies in these Digitally
Transformed Age.”

Laureen: Today’s webinar theme indeed highlights the significance of formal writing even in these times
of digital age, where email is already existing.

Karla: That’s definitely true. Formal writing will never vanish as an essential to all of us.

Laureen: Now, I know we’re all excited but with our program. So without much further ado, let’s feel
the presence of the Lord through a doxology performed by the CNCI Mangaldan featuring our 2 nd Year
Representative Ms. Daniella Abenoja, which will be followed by the singing of our National Anthem
through an AVP.
