The ScanMax NS Pro antenna is placed inside the

ScanMax® NS Pro Deactivator in bar code scanner bucket. The antenna may be
an NCR Mini, Express, or Full- located on the left or right side of the bucket and
should always be located on the side closest to the
Size FastLane Self-Checkout bagging area as shown above.

3. Detach the filler plate located behind the

CAUTION: Scanner cables are

cables when removing the scanner.

4. Carefully lift the scanner from the self-checkout


station, front first, by grabbing the support
handle on the inside front edge and the back of
the housing. Set the scanner across the
opening.

2. Remove four retaining screws (two on top, two


on the side) securing the LCD touch screen
and set aside. Then, lifting from the bottom, tilt
the LCD touch screen out of the way of the
scanner.
