The completion of this report would not have been possible without the
guidance of Mr Leon Chu Sin Yu, Lecturer of School of Mechanical and
Aeronautical Engineering in Singapore Polytechnic.

Purpose
The main purposes of this report are:

To find the coefficient of pressure (CP) and plot its distribution over the upper
and lower surfaces of an aerofoil in a wind tunnel

To find out how CP distribution changes at different angles of attack and how it
affects the centre of pressure of the aerofoil.

Observations
From the 3-test conducted and graphs plotted, we observed that as for the Upper Surface,
as the AOA value increases gradually, the Cp value also increases with it thus suggesting that
both variables are directly related. However, for the Lower surface, as the AOA value
gradually increases, the Cp value decreases with it thus suggesting that both variables in this
instance are inversely related.
