Dear Respected Parent/Guardian,

Assalamualaikum.

All praises only due to Allah SWT. Solawat and Salam to our beloved Nabi Muhammad, his family, and his
companions.

Welcome to Little Caliphs Kindergarten. Congratulation! Your precious young one is now entering a new world
of learning in a very stimulating and Islamic environment.

This little booklet intents to brief you about the kindergarten and the terms and conditions for enrolling your
child.

About Little Caliphs Kindergarten

 Little Caliphs Kindergarten is your neighborhood Islamic-English-Creative kindergarten and child

enrichment center that helps your kindergarten children to realize their best spiritual, cognitive, socio-
emotional and physical potential.

 Unlike other conventional child center, this kindergarten applies The Little Caliphs Program™, a
proven Islamic-English- Creative content and methodologies for teaching the children the meaningful
foundation of Islam, learning and living skills.

 Our mission:

preparation towards becoming an obedience slave of Allah, khalifah of Allah, and ummat of

About The Little Caliphs Program™ (TLCP)

 The Little Caliphs Program is a proven Islamic-English Creative kindergarten system that helps
kindergarten children to realize their best spiritual, cognitive, socio-emotional and physical potential.
Unlike other conventional kindergarten system, TLCP has a set of proven creative methodologies for
teaching the children the meaning foundation of Islam, learning and living skills.

 Integrates the basic teaching of Islam (‘aqidah, ‘ibadah, akhlaq) with other basic knowledge and skills
such as reading, writing, drawing, mathematic, English, Bahasa Malaysia and Qiraati.

 Applies the effective and advanced learning methodologies of Whole Brain Learning, Multiple
Intelligence Teaching, Multi-sensory Learning Styles and Accelerated Teaching and learning

Opening Times

The student shall follow the kindergarten schedule on time. The schedule is as follow:

 Pra- Tahfiz: 8.30am – 3.00pm

 KG1 & KG2 (6 years) : 8.30 am – 3.00 pm

 KG1 & KG2 (5 years): 8.30 am – 12.30 pm

 Extended Program: Until 6.30 pm.

Children must not arrive before 7.00 am and must be collected by parent or another named adult, not later than
12.30pm /1.00pm (for half day), 3.00pm/3.30pm (mid day) and 6.30pm/6.45pm (full day).

After the above-mentioned time it would be considered as ‘overtime’, therefore we would have to charge extra
to compensate the extra time teachers have to be at the school. This extra charge will be payable on the spot.
(RM 10/hour) and shall be payable to teacher on duty.

Admission and Attendance

To register your child, kindly complete a registration form together with a copy of your child’s birth certificate,
two passport-sized photo and all document needed. Once parent has completed the registration form, please
return the form together with the booking fee to the Principal. Receipt will be issued to you.

Monthly fees are payable by the first week of the month (Due: by 7th every month). Reminders and follow up
calls will be blast out for the late payments and it is highly appreciated for all parents to make a prompt payment
as it helps us to run our operation smoothly.

Payment can be made either by:

No refunds or reductions can be given if a child is absent due to illness, holiday or decides to stop attending the
school. Please inform the principal or at School2me apps of your child is going to be absent. In case of closure
of the kindergarten due to government order (e.g. cases of H1N1 or other epidemic or pandemic situation), there
will be no refund for the first two weeks of closure.

For student who absent for the whole months due to mother deliver baby or any reason, minimum monthly fee
will be imposed for content usage and as commitment fee to continue the student’s lesson once the student come
to kindergarten as usual.

TLCP Commitment Fee

During closure due to COVID-19, online classes will be taken place effectively. However, if the closure is more
than 2 weeks and to prevent students from being left out from the syllabus during the closure, we will be
conducting lesson and reading through Google Meet/Zoom medium. Supporting learning videos and homework
activities will be provided by our teachers throughout the closure period. Therefore, monthly fee will be
prorated or reduce as follows:

COVID-19 closure

*Note: This amount is apply for Tadika Al Thaqif only. This amount does not include any new online learning
package given by Little Caliphs International Sdn Bhd (LCISB). Fee may change if need to comply with new
LCISB rules and regulations.

*All Mid Day and Full Day students will pay the same amount as half day students as there will be no extended
program during the closure.

For parents who refuse to enroll students during the online class with teachers, students can also access the
learning videos, homework and motor skill activities to be done at your own timeline. Minimum monthly fee
will be imposed for content usage and as commitment fee to continue the student’s lesson once the kindergarten
operates as usual.

TLCP Commitment Fee

Termination or Withdrawal

If the monthly payment is not payable within two consecutive months, kindergarten has the right to terminate
the respective students and it is under the Principal’s discretion.

For withdrawal or termination of students, there will be 6 months cooling period before the students can re-
enroll and it is subjected to seat availability.

However, in any circumstances, feel free to contact our management and Insya Allah we will find best solution
for both parent and students.

Health and Safety

The safety of the children and adults are always given the greatest priority. Kindergarten staffs are trained to
ensure that the children are always well cared for and supervised. They provide suitable and safe activities and
carefully plan the layout of equipment to prevent accidents.

Children become aware of safety through learning. Kindergarten provides a safe environment to help them take
care of themselves at home, on the roads and in the group.

As an Islamic Kindergarten, we work to keep the premise and equipment clean and well maintained. Particular
attention is paid to hygiene when providing food and drink.

Clothing (for mid-day/full day children only)

In order to avoid confusion, may we suggest that children’s clothes be clearly named.

We require that every child has a bag with two pairs of complete appropriate clothes. These are for after evening
shower and another pair in case of your child getting wet.

Remember little children are often in a hurry to go to the toilet, so we ask parents not to put belt or braces on.
We do not encourage children to wear jewelry at Kindergarten. We will not hold responsible for any lost or
damage.

For hygiene reason, please provide your child his/her own towel and toothbrush and toothpaste and comb.
Please label these items. Towels are to be brought back every day to be washed at home.

Illness

Children can easily catch illness from other children. If your child is ill, please rest him/her at the comfortable
environment of his/her own home. You shall not send your child to the kindergarten as it may spread to other
children.

If your child contracts an infectious or contagious disease, please inform the Kindergarten immediately.
Contagious diseases are chicken pox, H1N1, mouth and foot and viral fever infection.

Please inform the Kindergarten as soon as possible if your child is absent due to illness.

Security

The Kindergarten gate must all the time be kept closed after entering or leaving. Your child must be taken into
the Kindergarten gate and handed to a member or Staff.

Kindergarten staff must be informed in advance if the person who will be collecting the child is not his/her
parents. In this case, the parents must update in School2me/inform teacher on duty REPRESENTATIVE’S
NAME, RELATIONSHIP, CAR TYPE and CAR PLATE NUMBER.

Birthday

You can celebrate your child’s birthday by bringing a cake or goodies for his/her friends. Please ensure that all
the food are HALAL and safe to eat.

Parental Involvement

Parents can help in their child’s development in a number of ways:

 Always talk to your child about Islam and being a good Muslim.

 Listen to your child. Children are very curious about the world around them. Always relate their
questions to Allah.

 Look at books and read stories together to encourage the development of reading habit.

 Reward your child when they do something good.

 Develop sharing and social interaction within the Kindergarten.

 Encourage friendships with peer group, i.e. children of a similar age.

Do come to all our programs especially in Fast Reading Technique Seminars, Parents Meet, Sports Day, Ihtifal
and special gathering.

Complaints Procedure

Parent having a complaint against the Kindergarten should firstly discuss the issues with Kindergarten Principal
in confidence. Your complaint will be forwarded to the management and Insya’Allah will be looked up.

Special Reminder

Please make sure your child does not bring along any equipment such as comic, expensive stationeries and toys
from home as the Kindergarten has provided these for your child. Also, may we remind you that the
Kindergarten’s properties shall not be taken out from school premise.

As the Kindergarten operate within a neighborhood, we ask parents to help us respect the neighborhood by
keeping the neighborhood safe, clean and smooth road traffic.

Let us together make do’a to Allah that the whole learning experience your precious young ones will go through
at Little Caliphs Kindergarten will be a wonderful and effective one, blessed with taufiq, hidayah, rahmah,
barakah, salamah, and redha from Allah SWT. May Allah accept our services and your effort to send your child
