TASK 3: Read the article published by Sapiens Decision entitled “A Primer on the Decision
Model”. This easy-to-read material will discuss topics about Business Rules, its components,
and the Rule Family. After reading you will be asked to write an argumentative essay
explaining the importance of Rule Family in Business Logic. Follow these guidelines:

2. In business logic, businesses derive CONCLUSIONS from CONDITIONS. These

conditions are the Business Rules. These rules are the statements that imposes some
form of constraint on a specific aspect of the business. In Rule Families, we derived
conclusion using a two-dimensional table.

3. Based on what you have read in the articles, your task is to write an argumentative
essay discussing the importance of Rule Family in deriving conclusions from the given
conditions.

4. You essay shall not be less than 300 words.

5. Note that an Argumentative Essay uses evidence and facts to support the claim it is
making. Its purpose is to persuade the reader to agree with the argument being made.
Thus, you need facts and evidence to support your argument, rather than just your
thoughts and opinions
