PETITION FOR CORRECTION OF MANIFEST ERROR

We, the undersigned members of the Barangay Board of Canvassers (BBOC) for
Barangay Industrial Valley Complex, Marikina City 1st District, after having been duly sworn to
in accordance with law, jointly depose and state: That –

1. We are the duly appointed Chairperson and members of Barangay Industrial Valley
Complex, Marikina City 1st District, Metro Manila;

2. We canvassed the Election Returns from Twenty-Six (26) Clustered Precincts and
subsequently PROCLAIMED the winners for the May 14, 2018 Barangay and
Sangguniang Kabataan Elections in said Barangay;

3. We discovered after PROCLAMATION that a MANIFEST ERROR was committed

in the CERTIFICATE OF CANVASS OF VOTES AND PROCLAMATION (COCP)
OF WINNING CANDIDATES FOR CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS,
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN. Attached is a certified true copy of the COCP for
the Sangguniang Kabataan Elections;

4. Due to over fatigue and lack of sleep, we mistakenly wrote in the COCP OF
WINNING CANDIDATES FOR CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS, SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN, the number of votes of xxxxx, SK Kagawad Candidate, to be Five
Hundred Eighty Two (582) instead of Five Hundred Eighty Six (586), which is the
total number of votes obtained by said candidate as reflected in the STATEMENT OF
VOTES BY PRECINCT;

5. Said error was a pure honest mistake and did not in any way affect the ranking of the
winning candidates for Sangguniang Kabataan Members;

6. We request the Commission on Elections for AUTHORITY TO CORRECT THE

MANIFEST ERROR inadvertently committed to reflect the true number of votes
obtained by xxxxx in the CERTIFICATE OF CANVASS OF VOTES AND
PROCLAMATION (COCP) OF WINNING CANDIDATES FOR CHAIRMAN
AND MEMBERS, SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN;

7. Moreover, we attest to the veracity of the foregoing statements for the purpose of
correcting said manifest error and whatever purpose this may serve.
