continues to develop in areas like healthcare and longer lifespans, social planners and policymakers
must pay attention to the forthcoming demographic shift towards an aging population.

Led by the Philippine Association of the Elderly (PAE) this study is an effort to conduct an analysis of the
current situation identify key issues affecting older adults and assess existing policy gaps specific to Luna,
Apayao. By examining reviews, factsheets and research articles this paper highlights the contrast
between perspectives on increased longevity and potential challenges faced by older individuals such as
