Abstract

This research is based on THE ROLE OF INFORMATION EDUCATION AND

COMMUNICATION IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT in India. The area of focus is on the

present condition of the rural sectors in India. The project work will through light on various

governments’ measures for uplifting the condition of the rural sectors. The discussion will

also be done on intervention of different NGOs for bringing betterment on the rural life.

The researcher has collected data both from secondary and primary sources. Both quantitative

and qualitative research strategy have been applied for this purpose. Qualitative secondary

data have been collected from various books, journals and academic websites and

quantitative primary data have been collected from 100 members of different governmental

authorities, NGOs, education authority through survey questionnaires.
