Lost In the Sun Chapter 8 Questions
1.In Chapter 8, Annie comes over to eat dinner with
Trent’s family. Why do you think there is awkwardness
between Trent and Annie?
I think there is awkwardness between the two of them
because, I think she knows that Trent was involved in her
brother’s death. I can prove this since she was glaring at
Trent most of the time when they were having dinner.
2. If you were a guest at this dinner, what would you
done or said?
If I was a guest at their family the first thing, I would do is
greet them properly. After I greet them, I sit down and
wait until dinner is ready. I would probably continue
eating until something happens. After I would get Trent
some water. Once I finish eating, I would ask to leave and
say goodbye.
3.On Page 94, Trent describes a drawing he made in his
Book of Thoughts. Why do think he believes this is “the
best one yet”?
Trent believes this because, in this version he didn’t kill
Jared. He also thinks since it's very similar to that day of
the accident.
4. If Trent’s drawing had come true how would’ve his life
been different?
If Trent’s drawing was true, he would have a whole
different personality. He would also draw different things
in his book of thoughts.
5.How did Doug feel about the prank he was planning?
I think that Doug felt confident about pranking Trent. I
know this because they most likely planned this a lot
better than Trent thought.
