To Whom It May Concern,

I was James Grant Cubol’s teacher for several years while he attended Visions in Education
charter school. I directly supervised and monitored his work, until he began high school. It is
my pleasure to write this character reference letter for him.

Grant has always been dependable, driven, and highly motivated academically. He is a bright
and conscientious student, he takes pride in producing quality work. I have seen Grant continue
to broaden his knowledge and experiences while attending Buckingham High School.

Grant volunteers with his school and church regularly. He has participated in school clubs such
as the Black Student Union club. He has also stepped up into leadership positions at school.
He recently served as the Treasurer of the Express Club. He participated in the school's
advanced mixed choir where he performed in the Day of the Dead celebration, Winter concerts,
Broadway concerts, and Spring concerts.

Grant has been volunteering at The Father’s House in kids’ ministry where he taught lessons to
2nd-5th graders and was also a group leader with Adventure Camp students. He has also
served on the Adopt a Block team where he would go out into the community to help serve the
elderly and underprivileged by serving food. He helped load the Uhauls with food and supplies
and helped with clean-up in local neighborhoods while serving.

It has been my pleasure to watch James Grant Cubol grow over the last several years into a
confident young man. Grant has a quiet and gentle demeanor with people and has grown in his
ability to be outgoing and serve others. I support him in his next steps as he is ready to take on
new challenges in his future endeavors.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Cassidy
