Dear Brothers and Sisters in Dhamma,

Recently Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council approached my Rotary Club to help
them with a medical equipment requirement,

In the course of the discussions, they also informed us that there is the 14th century Disket
Monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladhak, the main Hall needs to be repaired and restored, the
Abbot of the Monastery has appealed for help, rather this year His Holiness the Dalai Lama
was to visit The Disket Monastery when he is on his annual spiritual retreat.

I have pleasure to inform you that my Club in Delhi unanimously agreed to fund both the
projects 1) supplying the tele medicine equipment & 2) Also take up the meritorious task of The Disket
restoring the monastery. Monastery

I just felt that such a task which has received the blessing of His Holiness should be shared by
all my elders, friends, and relatives and it would have been very selfish on my part not to have
informed all of you.
AS we do not have the FCRA clearance as yet to receive donations from a foreign country I Statue of Arya
cannot even make an appeal to you to join in this meritorious task monetarily, however Indians
Maitreya
could partake in the same and I gladly welcome you to join.
