Advanced Management Admission Test


Introduction
The following will offer you an overview of the exam structure, sections and sample of
the questions expected in the actual exam:
The Advanced Management Admission Test (AMAT) is an exam designed to test the
applicants’ academic performance aptitude and potential. The exam is computer based
software that will measure your performance as you progress through the test. The
exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions, over duration of 90 Min. The exam only
shows one questions at a time and does not allow you to see the next question until
you have answered the current one. Therefore, you must review each response before
confirming and moving on to the next one.

The AMAT tests you on the following three categories:


1. Quantitative Reasoning
2. Analytical Reasoning
3. Verbal Reasoning
Here’s a brief overview of these sections in the format of AMAT.
Section Ⅰ: 20 Quantitative questions (For example the following sample)

1. Which of the following is the largest?

(A) 195% (B) 2.25 (C) 1+1/7 (D) 15/7

2. A factory produces 5 gears every 2 minute. At this rate, how many gears will the
factory produce in 7 hours?

Section Ⅲ: 5 Verbal questions (for example the following sample)

1. The length of a rectangle is increased by 10% By what percentage should the width
be decreased so that the area of the rectangle remains unchanged?

2. There are 4 doors to a large examination hole in how many ways can a student enter
and leave the hole ?
