Stewardship Sunday
The First Sunday in Advent, December 3, 2023, has
been designated Stewardship Sunday. Christine
McGeachie, Stewardship Chair, is asking that you
carefully prepare your pledge card and place it in the
collection plate during the service that day.
Lay License Applications Due
Certain Lay ministers must be licensed according to the
Canons of The Episcopal Church. These licenses are
requested and renewed at the beginning of Advent. Licenses
must be applied for by the clergy person in charge of the
parish in which the applicant serves, or the Senior Warden if
the parish is not served by a clergy person.

The Request for Lay Licenses form should be completed and

returned to the Diocesan office no later than December 2,
2023. Requests for lay licenses for Eucharistic Ministers,
Eucharistic Visitors, and Worship Leaders must be renewed
every three years. Renewals for those who will be practicing
their ministry in 2024 must be submitted to Paula Lapinski
(paula@diobeth.org) or mailed to the diocesan office at:

Tree” are available in the
church undercroft. Select a
name and record your
Christmas Flowers name and number on the
paper provided. Shop as if
