Introduction 1

Dear teachers, everyone!


On behalf of group 1 of class D6, today we would like to introduce to
teachers and everyone the typical specialties of our countryside.
With the advantage of being able to study in an environment with many
friends of many ethnicities and from different regions. So the specialties that
I bring today are quite diverse and attractive. With the desire to bring home
specialties to introduce widely to everyone, so that everyone can know and
enjoy.
There is a saying that "when wine meets a good friend, a thousand cups are
missing, drinking real wine is drinking from the heart". That's right, wine is
an indispensable drink in every meal and meal of friends in the northern
region. So we want to bring everyone the specialty of Lao Cai wine "Ban Pho
wine".
What makes Ban Pho alcohol so famous
The origin
Ban Pho corn alcohol, also known as Bac Ha corn booze, is a specialty wine
of the H'Mong and Dao people in Ban Pho, Bac Ha plateau, Lao Cai.

Hong Mi yeast, Corn , Water
How to make a divine Ban Pho wine
1, Hong My is harvested around September and October. The seeds are dried,
peeled, and crushed.
2, After that, people mix it with corn wine to form a powder, then hold it in a
round ball with the palm of their hand.
3, Then ferment for about 1 week to get the finished yeast. People often leave
yeast on the kitchen attic to avoid termites, getting mold, and to keep the best
quality.
4, Crush the yeast, mix it with boiled corn, and keep it in wooden barrels for
1 to 2 weeks. As soon as the corn is incubated the mixture will be distilled
into alcohol.
Besides Ban Pho wine, if we want to try more different types of wine, we
can try 2 other wine specialties. That is "Corn wine with yeast leaves" (Tuyen
Quang), "San Lung wine" (Lao Cai).
Corn wine with yeast leaves is a type of wine produced according to the
own secret of the Na Hang ethnic group - Tuyen Quang is a type of wine
that is not harmful to health, creating a feeling of reunion, warmth and
intimacy when everyone gathers around.
INGREDIENT:
1: Water
2: Yeast: a type of yeast synthesized from more than 20 rare and precious
medicinal leaves, with many good effects for health.
3: Ta corn (dried) – Standard ingredients for the best quality corn wine. The
corn selected to make wine must also be carefully selected, the corn must be
a yellow corn variety with even seeds, no termites.

PROCEDURE :
1: making leaf yeast: leaf yeast is made from rice flour and nearly 30 herbs
from the forest. There are both fresh and dried leaves, pounded fresh leaves
mixed with rice flour, yeast after grasping, then dried and left in the kitchen
for 30 days to be used.
2: choose corn, cook corn, let cool.
3: mixed with yeast leaves incubated for 30 days.
4: put on display.

San Lung wine is special wine of Dao Do ethnic from Sanlung, Ban
xeo, bat cat district, Lap cai province.
There is a legend about SL wine. According to that, Dao Do people said sl is
gods’ wine. They often sent their fairies to Po Sen mountain yo get them.
Dao Do people called 3 rainbows on Po sen is SL which means “3 dragons”
sounds similar to San Lung.
3 steps to make it.
Step 1: preparing ingredients which includes rice, yeast , water and a pot

Step 2: marinating rice with yeast. They have their own recipe and it takes
about 1 week to finish marinating.
Step 3: SL distillation
The first distillation is to eliminate waste. Second distillation to get the fume
from leaves and Po sen water.
San L alcohol volume is about 40-45, pure color and smell good.
It’s a special wine so it is only using in public holiday, weddings or
worshiping.

Through the hundreds of cups of wine without getting drunk, we sip tea
together and then tell each other close feelings. Speaking of tea, the
specialty that I would like to introduce to everyone is "San Tuyet Tea", a
specialty from Yen Bai.
1. Origin and characteristics of San Tuyet tea tree
Tea San Tuyet Suoi Giang is a famous tea in Yen Bai, loved by many
people because it is delicious and also has attractive taste. At the same time,
growing tea has also become one of the main occupations of this place
Suoi Giang belongs to Van Chan district, is a remote area with typical
terrain and climate. At an altitude of more than 1400m, this place is likened
to SaPa, thanks to the favors bestowed by nature, this place has a famous
specialty of delicious Shan Tuyet tea near and far.
The road to Suoi Giang is quite winding, but when you arrive you will be
extremely surprised with thousands of tea trees. Every tree is a big tree. The
body is a musty white color, each branch reaching up to catch the sun. And
there are tea trees up to 100-300 years old. More specifically, there are trees
up to 500-800 years old
2. The taste of Suoi Giang tea
San Tuyet SG tea has always been ranked first in premium teas from the past
to now. Locals say that this is a 5-pole tea

+ extremely rare: because the harvest is quite small even though it has been
planted a lot
+ extremely delicious: the tea has a rich flavor, rich flavor, and clear blue
water color

The original ingredients to create San Tuyet tea are fresh green tea buds
picked right at the old tea trees.
The tea buds after being harvested will be copied immediately, so they
still retain the original flavor. The whole process from choosing old tea buds,
using fire, using firewood also helps the tea to produce clear green water.
When enjoying, tea resin will give off a fragrant aroma, leaving an echo in
the soul of every tourist visiting this place.
Passing through Yen Bai, visiting Tuyen Quang, we visit Moc Chau Son
La again to enjoy the specialties here. Moc Chau attracts tourists not only
because of its dreamy natural beauty, cool and fresh climate but also by the
attractive specialties imbued with the cultural identity of the region.
Referring to Moc Chau plateau, people will immediately think of the dairy
farm, which produces a lot of fresh cow's milk - containing many delicious
and nutritious nutrients.

Above is the introduction of our group, there are certainly many
shortcomings, we hope that teachers and friends can give us suggestions to
make our presentation better. And through this presentation, we want
everyone to know about our homeland's specialties, to contribute to the
propaganda of our homeland's specialties.
