Introduction to AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation

of human intelligence in machines designed to
think and act like humans. This includes learning,
reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and
language understanding.

The concept of AI has been around since the 1950s.

It gained widespread attention in 2022 with the
release of ChatGPT

Dispelling AI Myths -
Facts vs. Fiction
Myth 1: AI Can Think Just Like
Humans

Fiction: AI has human-like

consciousness and emotional
understanding.

Fact: AI mimics certain aspects

of human intelligence but
lacks consciousness and
emotional depth.

Myth 2: AI Will Lead to Massive
Job Losses

Fiction: AI will render most

jobs obsolete and cause
widespread unemployment.

Fact: While AI automates

certain tasks, it also creates
new job opportunities and
enhances human productivity

Myth 3: AI is Infallible and
Unbiased

Fiction: AI always produces

accurate, objective results.

Fact: AI algorithms can inherit

biases from their training data,
and their accuracy depends
on various factors.

Myth 4: AI Can Replace Human
Creativity

Fiction: AI can completely

replace human creativity and
artistic expression.

Fact: While AI can assist in

creative processes, it cannot
replicate the unique aspects of
human creativity.
