Human BINGO (Getting to know activity)


Human Bingo is a game that can fosters communication and great for getting a group of new
friends to know each other deeper after going through the game.
Materials Needed: Printed bingo cards, pen
Number of participants: everyone
Objective: To increase level of communication
How to play:
1. Give each player a bingo card, either homemade or found on the internet, and a pen
2. Explain that the group has 30 minutes to mingle with each other. During this time, they
should be introducing themselves to one other and finding people who match the traits on
the bingo card.
3. Once they have found the person with the correct trait, they must put the person’s name
in the corresponding box, or have the person sign the appropriate bingo square.
4. The first person who completes the bingo cards win.

Division of teams
Materials needs: game cards
Objective:
How to play:
1. Each participant should pick 1 card. The team will be divided from those who received
the odd and even card numbers.

Beat the eggs


Materials needed: 3 eggs per team
Objective:
How to play:
1. After dividing the group into teams, give each team 3 eggs. Each egg has corresponding
points. The egg should be kept unbeaten/uncracked during the whole duration of the
teambuilding activity. An additional point should be given to the team for keeping the
eggs unbeaten/ uncracked.

Hole in Many
Another simple, fun game that gets the entire team involved in something physical. Essentially,
the team has to balance a tennis ball on a tarpaulin with holes cut into it randomly.
Being good at this game requires the entire team to coordinate and work together.
Materials needed: ping pong balls, tarpaulin or manila paper
Number of participants: 8-24 people
Objective: To learn teamwork
How to play
1. Grab a piece of tarpaulin or manila paper and a few ping pong balls. Cut a hole randomly
into the tarp/paper.
2. Ask each team to hold the tarp stretched out between them.
3. Drop a ball onto the tarp. The team has to hold the tarp/paper while moving and not
dropping the ball. A specific finish line should be indicated.

Strategy
While there is something to learn from this team-building activity - physical and verbal
cooperation - it's best suited for getting people involved at the start of an event. It's fun for
everyone and simple enough that anyone can play it, regardless of age or fitness level.

Row the Boat (Pool Area)


Materials needed: paper boat
Number of participants: 5 people
Objective: Communication and strategy
How to play:
1. The group should blow the paper boat from start to finish line without using their hands.
The first group to finish wins.

Marshmallow Challenge
Materials needed: toothpicks, marshmallow
Number of participants: everyone
Objective: Communication, team collaboration, problem solving
1. Teams must build the tallest free-standing structure within the time limit using the above
materials with the marshmallow on top.

Human Caterpillar (Pool Area)


Materials needed: None
Number participants: everyone
Objective: Communication and strategy
How to play:
1. The team should be on straight line, the first team member on the line should be
considered as the hunter while the last team member is considered as the prey.
2. The hunter must hunt the prey in order to win. The first team to win 3 points, wins.
