Daily routine

On weekdays (hétköznapokon) I get up at six o’clock or half past six in the morning because I go to school
but at weekends (hétvégén) I get up at about 8 or 9. // I get up at the same time on weekdays and at
weekends as well. It is at 6 o’ clock.

When I get up, I go to the bathroom, I wash my face and hands, dry myself with a towel (megtörülközöm),
comb my hair (megfésülködöm), get dressed( felöltözöm) but I don’t have breakfast at home. I eat a
sandwich or some bakery products (péksütik) at school.//and I have breakfast at home. For breakfast I have
a sandwich, bread and butter with jam or honey(vajas kenyér lekvárral vagy mézzel), bread and salami
(szalámiskenyér), sausages (kolbász), cold cuts (felvágott), eggs, for example, soft/hard boiled eggs
(lágy/kemény főtt tojás), scrambled eggs (rántotta), fried eggs (tükörtojás), ham and eggs(sonka tojással),
yoghurt, toast (pirítós) with jam or bakery products. We drink cocoa, milk, tea, white coffee (tejes kávé) or
fruit juice.

I go to school on foot/ by bike/by bus/ by train. It takes me about ........ minutes. School starts at quarter to
eight and finishes at ten past one or ten past two. I have got six or seven lessons a day.
On ........................we’ve got six lessons and on ............. we’ve got seven lessons. My favourite day is
Friday because it is the last weekday and the weekend starts. / My favourite day is Saturday because there is
no school. / My favourite day is ................ because we’ve got a double period of PE// Latin Culture…..

I have lunch in the school canteen (menza) on weekdays because my parents go to work/ I live in ..............//
I have lunch at home because my mum/my grandma cooks every day. I start with some soup (leves) for
example, fruit (gyümölcs) or vegetable (zöldség) soup. Then I have some meat (hús) for example, chicken,
pork (sertéshús), beef (marhahús) or fish with some potatoes (burgonya) or rice (rizs).
When I finish school, I go home and do my homework. Then I go to play on the computer, go to football/
basketball trainings/go to music school/ go to dance class or read books.
In the evenings (esténként) I talk to my parents, my brother and my sister about school, watch TV, /films on
Netflix, read books or magazines, play on the computer, surf the net, draw pictures, listen to music, look
after my pets (gondoskodom a kisállatomról) or have a rest.

I have dinner with my family in the evenings, at 7 o’clock. I have a shower at 8 o’clock. I go to bed at
about 9 o’ clock on weekdays because school starts at quarter to eight but at weekend I go to bed later
(később). I read in bed/ watch videos in bed and I go to sleep at half past nine.
