8.2.1 Common earth should be adopted for industrial television system. When common earth
is adopted, earthing ohmic value shall not greater than 1Ω; when individual earthing is
adopted, earthing ohmic value shall not greater than 4Ω. For the system mounted in open field,
earthing ohmic value shall not greater than 10Ω. Earth wire should be the copper core
insulated conductor with a sectional area greater than or equal to 16mm.
8.2.2 Earthing influx devices shall be mounted in monitoring room, and equipotential
connection shall be adopted.
8.2.3 Equipments and control console of industrial television system, metal enclosure of
cabinet, metallic shield coating of wire cable must be earthed.
8.2.4 Metallic shield coating of steel pipe, wire cable in the route of exposed steel pipe on the
outbuilding top of buildings, tower (pole) top and open air structures must be earthed.
8.2.5 Metallic shield coating of overhead cable, wire cable of messenger cable and metallic
conduit in the route shall be earthed.
8.2.6 Metallic shield coating of steel pipe and wire cable of buried steel pipe route in the open
shall be earthed.
8.2.7 Metallic joints of optical fiber cable, damp-proof metal coating and strengthened metal
core shall be earthed.
8.2.8 For the industrial television system located in plant site buildings, open field,
mountainous area, and the cameras mounted on the top of buildings, tower (pole), the
lightning protection design of industrial television cable, feeder, monitoring room inlet
terminal of overhead cable, which higher than adjacent structures, shall comply with relevant
regulations of current national standard "Technical Code for Protection Against Lightning of
Building Electronic Information System" GB 50343 and "Design Specifications for Lightning
Protection of Building" GB 50057.
